This method is called a backlink and it’s simply a vote for Google to see that other website owners have your link listed on theirs as well. The more quality and targeted backlinks related to your niche, the more successful your online campaign will be.
What are some of the ways of producing a quality backlink?
There are many different ways of creating a link back to your site, however some website owners do it differently depending on others and what business they are in. The most common approach to creating backlinks is done by Press Release Distribution, Directories, and Articles. Other ways include social media marketing such as producing your video on Youtube, or creating groups with Twitter and Facebook.

I can give you a ton of pointers to improve your on-page SEO, but the majority of SEO that you will need is back links pointing to your site. I assure you that securing enough back links to compete with the big sex toy companies on the search engines for sex toy phrases would be a full time job(40 hours/wk) for at least 6 months. Once a first page position in the search results is reached, it would probably be a full time job to maintain that position.
To make a long story short, In my professional opinion SEO is probably not your best option for marketing your site. If I were you, I would try Social Network Marketing. Facebook, MySpace, and Tagged are the most popular ones right now, so I would start with them.
